WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
An exciting opportunity to combine advanced clinical practice with leadership responsibilities in a supportive healthcare environment. Working closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care while helping to lead and support staff, mentor less experienced team members, and drive practice improvements.
You will also contribute to key operational functions including workforce planning, recruitment, rostering, performance development, and service delivery, while further developing your clinical, leadership, and professional capabilities.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
You will……….
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing/midwifery care, ensuring safe and effective outcomes for patients, clients, and their families.
- Oversee and coordinate patient admissions and discharges, working closely with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, and external healthcare providers to achieve safe, timely, and appropriate discharge planning.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the team, promoting continuity of care and fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Mentor, coach, and support the development of students, new staff, and less experienced colleagues to build capability and confidence.
- Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and change initiatives that enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Work closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to support workforce planning, rostering, recruitment, and the efficient day-to-day operations of the ward, unit, or service.
