About the role

As a Radiographer, you will take on a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across a variety of clinical specialities. Using specialised equipment and advanced radiography techniques, you will provide accurate and timely imaging services with minimal professional direction, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical outcomes. Your expertise will contribute directly to supporting patients and clinicians through the provision of essential diagnostic information.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will guide and support other radiographers, PDY radiographers, and students on placement, fostering a positive learning environment and sharing your professional expertise. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to departmental quality assurance programs and approved research activities, playing an active role in advancing imaging practices and improving outcomes for the wider community.

About You

You are a dedicated and skilled Radiographer with the qualifications, expertise, and professionalism to deliver high-quality imaging services across a range of clinical settings. With strong technical knowledge, adaptability, and a collaborative approach, you bring both precision and patient-centred care to your work.

  • Registered with AHPRA and holding the required degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, with experience in complex imaging procedures.

  • Proven ability to assess clinical needs, select appropriate examination requirements, and perform imaging procedures with initiative and minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships at all levels.

  • Sound knowledge of safe radiation practices, PACS systems, and medico-legal responsibilities, with a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
