Join our Corporate Services Communication Team
Support the delivery of internal and external communications that keep staff informed and strengthen community trust in the Network.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) Communication, this role is integral to the effective operation of the PABX console and related services and is also responsible for providing an efficient high quality telephone Communications service to Flinders Medical Centre, Repatriation Health Precinct and the General Community.
Duties for the role will include:
- Effective operation of the PABX console and related services
- Providing an efficient high quality telephone Communications service to Flinders Medical Centre and the General Community
- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
- Demonstrating appropriate behaviours which reflect a commitment to the Department of Health values and strategic directions.
- Undertaking training as required to attain and maintain required competency of skills and knowledge applicable to the role
About you:
- Proven experience in basic computing skills, including email and word processing
- Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards. (Mandatory for all clinical positions.)
- Experience with the PABX System used by SALHN
- Willingness to undertake training relevant to the position
- Able to work alone and unsupervised.
