About the Role
As a Physiotherapist (AHP1/AHP2), you will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive and integrated physiotherapy services tailored to the needs of the local community. Depending on your level of experience, you may work under supervision or with reduced clinical direction while managing a diverse caseload, supporting service development, and contributing to quality patient outcomes across a range of clinical settings.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient, domiciliary and outreach settings, managing a varied caseload that may include medical, surgidal, rehabilitation, paediatric and community clients
- Provide assessment, treatment, triage, referrals and coordinate support across the patient journey, contributing to timely, patient-centred care
- Support and contribute to programs and service planning, including rehabilitation, falls prevention, respiratory services and other discipline-specific initiatives
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, participate in meetings and committees, and contribute to service quality, safety reporting and continuous improvement activities
- Engage in clinical supervision, mentorship, professional development and, where appropriate, support peers, allied health assistants and students.
Positions Available
- Temporary Full Time - up to 7 April 2028
- Temporary Part Time - up to 31 December 2026 (0.6FTE)
Essential Qualification
Must hold a recognised qualification within Physiotherapy Health profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant professional association. For those professions requiring registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.
Appointment to AHP1 or AHP2 will depend on the level of skills and experience.
