About the Role:
Join our dedicated and highly skilled team at Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Consultant in Obstetric Medicine.
As a Consultant in Obstetric Medicine, you will deliver comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and babies.
Key Responsibilities:
- provide specialist obstetric medicine consultations and management
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and ward rounds
- contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
- mentor junior medical staff and participate in teaching programmes
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
About You:
To excel in this role you will have extensive experience in high-risk obstetric medicine and strong communication and teamwork skills. Certification with the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ) is highly desirable.
