About the Role
As a Visiting Medical Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality medical care, ensuring patients receive the best possible outcomes through expert clinical practice and compassionate service. You’ll take the lead in overseeing patient care, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, evidence-based treatment in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
In this role, you’ll also contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services and care delivery systems, helping to shape and enhance the hospital’s approach to excellence. Your passion for education will shine through as you share your knowledge and experience, actively participating in the teaching and training of medical, nursing, allied health and other staff at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

You’re a dedicated and experienced medical professional who demonstrates excellence in clinical practice and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by continuous learning and improvement.
• Hold an appropriate specialist qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice, integrity and adaptability.
• Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and respect.
• Commit to ongoing education, quality improvement and teaching within your specialty.
