About the role
Are you looking to take the next step in your pharmacy career? As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality pharmacy services. Working closely with AHA and AHP supervisors, you’ll contribute to clinical support, dispensing and distribution, packaging of pharmaceuticals, inventory management and the preparation or manufacturing of medications. This is a hands-on role where your skills and initiative will directly support optimal outcomes for patients across our health network.
In this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to assist with technical training, organise daily workloads, monitor quality standards and collaborate with pharmacy leaders to ensure safe and cost-effective drug therapy. You’ll be joining a supportive team environment where your contribution is valued and where you can continue to build on your professional knowledge and skills. About You
You are a motivated and skilled pharmacy professional with the qualifications, experience, and drive to contribute to safe, effective and efficient pharmacy services. You thrive in a team environment while also working independently, and you bring strong technical and leadership skills to support optimal patient care.
- Hold a relevant Certificate IV or above, with strong technical and pharmacy skills
- Demonstrated experience in hospital pharmacy, including supervision and training
- Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail in high-demand settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, systems, and ethical standards of care
