Administration Officer – Support the Geriatrician Service at Riverland General Hospital
Play a vital role in supporting the Geriatrician Service by delivering high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative services for clients, staff, and visitors at Riverland General Hospital.
About the Role:
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing professional and efficient administrative support within the Geriatrician Service. Reporting to the Manager Client Services, you will manage a range of administrative activities, ensuring smooth service delivery and a positive experience for consumers and staff.
In this role, you will work closely with administrative colleagues, coders, ward and theatre clerks, doctors, specialists, and nursing staff, contributing to team outcomes in a cooperative and constructive manner.
You will also build effective relationships with external stakeholders, including Aboriginal Health Services, Local Health Networks, other government agencies, and the Emergency Department, to support seamless care pathways.
What We’re Looking For:
- A high level of competency in the use of computers, work processing and office administration processes and procedures.
- Experience in providing administrative & clerical support services.
- Sound word processing and data entry skills.
