About the Role
As a Senior Pulmonary Function Scientist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and monitoring patients' respiratory health through the application of advanced pulmonary function testing. You'll be responsible for conducting both routine and complex assessments, analysing data, and contributing to comprehensive clinical reports that support diagnosis and treatment planning. You'll have an instrumental part in maintaining the growth mind set of a team of respiratory scientists. Your work will directly influence patient outcomes and help guide respiratory care across a range of clinical settings.
Beyond testing, this role offers the opportunity to engage in quality assurance activities, including verifying the accuracy of tests, conducting audits, and supporting the continuous improvement of procedures and processes. You'll also have the chance to contribute to staff education, training and research initiatives, while actively participating in problem-solving related to equipment and methodologies. About You
You are a science-qualified professional with a strong background in respiratory physiology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. With experience in pulmonary function testing and data analysis, you are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Hold a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or equivalent

Demonstrated experience in pulmonary function or physiology laboratory settings

Strong analytical, communication and computer skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail
