About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative medical professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide supervised medical services to patients while supporting high standards of clinical care across the unit. You will contribute your clinical leadership to foster a team-based approach to service delivery, participating in multidisciplinary meetings and working alongside a committed group of health professionals. Your strong communication and organisational skills will ensure accurate documentation of patient care, timely discharge summaries, and the preparation of medical reports and written opinions.

In addition to direct patient care, you will play a vital role in medical education and professional development. This includes contributing to teaching and training programs for postgraduate doctors and other health professionals, as well as supporting ongoing clinical research initiatives within the hospital. About You

You are a qualified and compassionate medical professional who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering excellence in patient care. You bring strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a focus on continual improvement.

  • Registered with AHPRA and ideally hold a specialist qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery

  • Proven clinical skills in managing pre- and post-operative cardiothoracic surgical patients

  • Strong communicator and collaborator with a commitment to quality care and teamwork

  • Experience or interest in teaching, research, and ICU or intra-operative management is highly desirable
