About the role

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the Country Access to Cardiac Health (CATCH) program within the Integrated Cardiovascular Clinical Network (iCCnet). As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Clinician, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert cardiac rehab services via telehealth. Your role will be vital in helping rural and remote patients manage their recovery, improve quality of life, and access culturally safe, evidence-based care tailored to their needs.

This temporary part-time position offers flexible working arrangements, including the ability to work from home with some time required at our Tonsley office. Join us and make a real difference in cardiac care across diverse communities.

How will you contribute

  • Deliver personalised, evidence-based cardiac rehabilitation exercise programs and therapeutic interventions to patients with complex cardiac conditions.
  • Apply culturally safe practices to ensure respectful, inclusive care for all patients, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from rural and remote areas.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary CATCH team and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery via telehealth and community-based approaches.
  • Support and mentor junior staff and students, contributing to professional development and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Do you have a passion for helping people recover and improve their heart health through tailored exercise programs?
  • Are you an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist with experience or interest in cardiac rehabilitation and working with diverse rural communities?
  • Are you comfortable working both independently and as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including via telehealth?

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy, working 45 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
