About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Department Office Manager to join our dedicated team within the Cancer Directorate. Reporting to the Administrative Team Leader, you will provide confidential secretarial, administrative, and reception support to consultants, while also playing a key role in the smooth day-to-day functioning of the department. This role requires a proactive approach to coordinating workloads, resolving complex administrative issues, and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks. Your ability to liaise with various hospital departments and guide less experienced staff will be essential to your success.
As a central figure in the department’s support structure, you’ll also contribute to the coordination and quality control of administrative processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards. Your role will involve managing departmental events, special projects, and supporting operational needs across sites as required.
