Overview:

  • The LMS Instructional Designer and Support is responsible for coordinating and undertaking the development, delivery and review of technical design and operational support programs, functions and services for SA Health’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • The LMS Instructional Designer and Support coordinates and undertakes the creation and maintenance of new courses, provides expert technical assistance to the configuration, coordination, operation, and use of SA Health’s Learning Management System, and uses authoring tools and best practice design principles to create, redevelop, maintain and publish learning and assessment content.
  • The LMS Instructional Designer and Support is also responsible for providing a responsive point of contact services for DHW users including identifying and resolving complex issues related to the use and configuration of the LMS, and resolving or escalating user requests.
  • The role develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders across SA Health, and provides advice to management and staff in relation to system capability, online course design, development, assessment and evaluation to meet SA Health’s diverse training needs.
