About the Role
Join the dedicated team at Hampstead Dialysis Centre as a Ward Attendant in Renal Services, where you'll play a key role in supporting high-quality patient care. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide essential assistance to clinical staff, helping ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of care to dialysis patients. Your contribution will help create a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff alike.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks including patient support, cleaning, and other vital duties that contribute to the overall functioning of the Renal Services team. Whether assisting in the In-Centre or Home Dialysis areas, your proactive and reliable approach will help maintain a high standard of service delivery. Support Service Knowledge
Understanding of ward attendant, porter or orderly duties, including patient transfers, discharges, and infection control practices. -
Communication and Teamwork
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. -
Self-Motivation and Flexibility
Able to manage your time well, work with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities as needed. -
Literacy and Reliability
Ability to read and write English confidently, with a proactive and dependable approach to all aspects of the role.
