Ready to take the next step in your nursing or midwifery leadership journey? Join Yorke and NOrthern Local Health Network as an Associate Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager (ANUM) on the medical ward, Port Pirie Regional Health Service, supporting the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead a high-performing team and delivery safe, person-centred care.

About the Role

Woking alongside the NUM, you'll provide clinical and operational leadership across the medical ward.  You'll help coordinate the delivery of care, support staff and student nurses, and contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Provide clinical leadership and support high-quality patient care.
• Assist with staff coordination, rostering, leave and performance processes.
• Support team development through teaching, mentoring and supervision.
• Contribute to practice improvement, clinical auditing and evidence-based care.
• Promote consistent standards of care and act as a clinical resource and role model.

About You

You're an experienced Nurse or Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience, including supervision of staff and students.  You'll bring sound clinical expertise, leadership capability and a collaborative approach, with the ability to support your team and contribute to service improvement.

You must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
