WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join our team in a rewarding temporary part-time leadership opportunity where you can combine clinical excellence with the chance to support and guide nursing practice. Working closely with the Midwifery Unit Manager, you will help coordinate day-to-day operations, support quality, women-centred care, mentor staff and contribute to workforce and service improvement initiatives. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Are you a registered nurse and/or midwife who can deliver safe, high-quality, women-centred care in a busy clinical environment?
- Do you have the leadership skills to support and guide staff while promoting positive patient outcomes?
- Can you effectively coordinate care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery?
- Are you passionate about mentoring students, new graduates and less experienced staff to build capability and confidence?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
You will….
- Provide proficient nursing and/or midwifery care while monitoring and coordinating care plans to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with clinical leadership, service coordination and day-to-day operational activities.
- Lead and support staff on shift, facilitating patient flow and ensuring continuity and consistency of care.
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring and professional development opportunities for students and less experienced staff.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical audit and research activities to enhance patient care and service delivery.
