As a Technical Developer within SALHN Digital Health, you'll shape and deliver software solutions that underpin reporting, performance monitoring, and business planning — contributing to meaningful outcomes across one of South Australia's largest health networks.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Principal Technical Analyst & Developer, this role will be involved in developing and maintaining reporting systems that support business planning, policy development, and performance monitoring across the network. Duties for the role will include:

  • Build and maintain data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting solutions that support performance monitoring and decision-making across the network
  • Conduct systems analysis to identify data extraction requirements, document business rules, and design tools that meet operational and administrative needs
  • Partner with stakeholders across SALHN to ensure data processes meet SA Health standards and deliver reliable, high-quality reporting outcomes
  • Uphold SA Health data governance standards while proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and team capability

About you:

  • Experience contributing to the development of reporting systems and applications within a complex organisational environment
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of an organisation
  • Self-motivated and organised, with a track record of managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Sound judgement when identifying and resolving complex problems, with the ability to document and implement practical solutions within agreed constraints
