Clinical Leadership in Infection Prevention

Working closely with the Nurse Consultant and multidisciplinary teams, you'll lead surveillance, outbreak management, risk assessment and quality improvement initiatives that support safe, high-quality care across the health service. About you:

  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision
  • Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated competence in Infection Control  nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards
  • Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting

To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
