Part Time working 30 hours per week and temporary up to 31/7/27

About the role

Join SA Pathology as an Operational Services Officer and play an important role in supporting accurate, efficient laboratory services. You’ll receive, sort and prepare specimens for testing, maintain accurate records and data, support specimen storage and transport, and respond to customer enquiries with professionalism and care.

Working alongside medical, scientific, technical and operational teams, you’ll help keep daily laboratory services running smoothly and safely. You’ll assist with diagnostic processes, maintain laboratory standards and contribute to quality improvement, while using initiative to resolve enquiries and manage changing priorities in a busy healthcare environment.

About You

You’re a reliable and organised team member who brings accuracy, initiative and a strong customer focus to a busy laboratory environment. Familiarity with Millennium data entry system and medical terminology will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Work accurately, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Communicate clearly and deliver professional customer service
• Use initiative, solve problems and escalate issues when needed
• Bring relevant pathology, data entry or laboratory experience
