Overview:

Accountable for facilitating and coordinating the provision of confidential, high-quality support, secretarial and executive administrative services and project work to ensure the efficient operation of the office of Communicable Disease Control Branch (CDCB).

The position provides executive assistant services for the Executive Director CDCB and is required to liaise extensively with high-level stakeholders, identify, prioritise and address a range of issues, including media queries and requests, and develop, implement and monitor systems to enhance the administrative services within the office.

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
