Join a dedicated Mental Health Service Division where you will deliver high-quality clinical care while providing leadership within a multidisciplinary team committed to outstanding patient outcomes. In this influential role, you will mentor and teach medical students, trainee medical officers, and other health professionals, helping to develop the next generation of clinicians. You will play a key part in clinical governance through quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and continuous professional development activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to research, innovation, and evidence-based practice while making a meaningful difference to the lives of consumers and their families.

About you:

  • Experience with the supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff
  • Demonstrated participation in approved continuing medical education since attaining specialist qualification
  • Ability to organise work priorities in planning, development and implementation of tasks in meeting deadlines
  • Extensive clinical experience relevant to work in Psychiatry
  • Demonstrated professional integrity, leadership and motivational skills
