This role allows for flexibility to work from any of our BHFLHN sites by negotiation, or the ability to work remotely, and benefit from the work-life balance this provides.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

  • An experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented professional who takes initiative, works independently, and maintains a high level of accuracy when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder who can effectively liaise with managers, staff, Human Resources, Payroll, and external stakeholders across the health network.
  • A compliance-focused individual with experience maintaining records, monitoring workforce requirements, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and legislative obligations.
  • A collaborative team player who is committed to continuous improvement, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and workforce administration activities to support the timely engagement of nursing and midwifery staff across the network.
  • Monitor and maintain workforce compliance requirements, ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and aligned with SA Health policies and legislative standards.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Nurse Manager and Central Staffing team, including preparing reports, correspondence, meeting documentation, and business records.
  • Build effective relationships with managers, staff, Human Resources, Payroll, and external stakeholders to deliver responsive and customer-focused staffing support services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to service enhancements, helping to streamline workflows, strengthen compliance practices, and improve the onboarding experience.
