About the role

The Administration Assistant is responsible for the provision of a confidential reception and administrative service across the Division of Allied Health

Key duties of the role

  • Provide an effective and efficient Administration Service to clients and clinicians
  • Uses high-level communication skills to identify the needs of people from various backgrounds
  • Provide scheduling and wait list management as part an integrated patient appointment booking service.
  • Participate in the review and continuous improvement of office systems.
  • Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment within the department.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in reception, secretarial and administrative support
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, word processing and data entry systems
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide courteous, confidential and empathetic service
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
