Ward Administrative Assistant – Supporting Exceptional Patient Care

Be at the heart of patient care and hospital operations as a Ward Administrative Assistant. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential administrative, reception, and coordination support, ensuring the smooth flow of patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and follow-up care. Working closely with clinical teams, patients, and hospital departments, you will use your initiative, organisational skills, and attention to detail to help deliver efficient, high-quality healthcare services every day.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Ward Administrative Assistant/Admin Assistant
  • Experience working with distressed patients/carers with empathy
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentially in matters relating to patient information
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
