About the role

Lead the delivery of WCHN's transport services, overseeing car parks, fleet, roadways and parking facilities. Manage staff, budgets, assets, security, revenue and maintenance while driving projects and continuous improvements to ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused transport operations.

Key duties of the role

  • Deliver strategic planning, leadership, and management for Hospital parking, including the multistorey Medical Centre Car Park, the Rogerson Underground Car Park, the Motorcycle Parking Facility, and the Bicycle Storage Compound.
  • Manage specific projects and initiatives that are associated with the parking facilities, and related access and operational functions
  • Lead and ensure the effective administration and continual improvement of Car Park management processes and practices.
  • Establish, coordinate and monitor effective financial management to maximise efficiencies and service provisions.
  • Supports and encourages the practice of continuous improvement and learning

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated high level facilities management experience, including the planning and delivery of strategies, projects, regulatory requirements and financial management, to meet quality and cost standards and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven high level experience in leading and managing staff, including delivering effective performance development and management.
  • Well developed knowledge of technical systems associated with car park management, of systems associated with transport provision within a large organisation, of guidelines relating to the use of Government vehicles, and of regulations governing patient transport
