About the role

Join SA Medical Imaging and become the welcoming face of a service that supports patients around the clock. As an Administrative Officer, you'll provide high-quality administrative support while ensuring every patient, visitor and referrer receives a professional, friendly and compassionate experience. Your work will play a vital role in keeping a busy medical imaging service running efficiently across a 24/7 environment.

Working closely with the Administration Coordinator, Administration Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you'll coordinate complex inpatient and outpatient bookings across multiple imaging modalities, manage patient information and act as an important communication link between clinicians, patients and external organisations. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity where your organisation, adaptability and customer service skills will make a real difference every day.

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional front desk support
• Coordinate complex imaging appointments across modalities
• Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Liaise with clinicians, patients and external providers
• Respond to enquiries with professionalism and care
• Support smooth day to day Medical Imaging operations
• Prioritise competing tasks in a fast paced environment
• Deliver high quality administrative support across the service

About You

We're looking for a customer-focused administrator who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.

• Experience in healthcare administration and patient systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
• Able to prioritise, solve problems and work as a team
