Overview:

 

The Project and Administration Coordinator Health Protection supports priority action areas identified to improve the governance and delivery of the Health Protection Branch services on behalf of the Public Health Division, Department of Health and Wellbeing (DHW). These areas include, but are not restricted to, project management, innovative delivery of administration services,, information and data management, evaluation and reporting and service improvement projects.

The role has a key focus on delivering comprehensive secretariate services, including scheduling meetings, preparing and coordinating papers and reports, maintaining documentation, tracking progress of actions and initiatives, requesting updates from members, and working with co-chairs of committees to design and conduct effective partnership meetings aligned to objectives.

The incumbent is responsible to provide high level administrative and project management support for program and service improvement projects within the Health Protection Branch. Work at this level is undertaken by employees with research and public health experience, highly developed data management, analytical and written communication skills.
