As a senior nursing leader, you will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care within a complex clinical environment. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide expert clinical guidance, lead and support staff, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the effective use of resources to achieve outstanding patient and client outcomes.

About you:

  • Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience
  • Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with others to influence and earn the trust and respect of relevant parties gaining co-operation and support
  • Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Experience in the financial and asset management of a ward/unit
