Join our Finance team in a role where accuracy, customer service and collaboration come together.  You'll play an important part in supporting revenue and debt management services that help keep our health service running efficiently.

About the Opportunity

As the Senior Revenue Officer - Debt Management, you'll be responsible for administering debt management and collection activities, ensuring outstanding accounts are managed professionally, efficiently and in line with established policies and procedures.

Working as part of a collaborative Finance team, you'll manage debtor case files, monitor outstanding balances, process approved debt waivers and write-offs, prepare reports and reconciliations, and provide high-quality support to customers and stakeholders.  You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to colleagues when required.

About You

You are a professional and approachable team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels. You demonstrate integrity, discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive and confidential information, while remaining organised and focused in a busy environment. With the ability to work independently, prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines, you also bring a flexible and adaptable approach, using initiative and problem-solving skills to respond to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of debt management and collections processes.
  • The ability to work with diverse customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience using financial systems such as Oracle and EMR (desirable).
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvements.
