Step Into Mental Health Rehabilitation | Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Take the next step in your mental health nursing career and join a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional recovery-focused care within a Community Rehabilitation Centre. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will provide specialist clinical nursing rehabilitation services, contribute to the development and implementation of individualised rehabilitation and recovery plans and work collaboratively with consumers, carers and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Working closely with the Team Manager, you will support the coordination of clinical services, mentor and supervise staff, drive practice improvements and contribute to workforce management activities including recruitment, performance development and resource planning. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership capabilities while providing advanced clinical expertise, supporting service excellence, and enhancing rehabilitation and recovery outcomes within a collaborative healthcare environment.

About you:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
  • Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision
  • Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses
  • Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting
