About The Role.

Naracoorte Health Service is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Acute Department in multiple ongoing vacancies. Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time applicants, with hours negotiable to suit individual circumstances.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment. Working across a diverse acute care setting, you will assess patient needs, coordinate care, contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support positive health outcomes for the local community. This role offers the opportunity to develop clinical expertise, build professional capability and make a meaningful contribution to healthcare delivery in a regional setting.

To succeed in the Registered Nurse role, you will:

• Be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrate competence in contemporary nursing practice and a commitment to patient-centred care.
• Possess strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload, adapt to changing clinical demands and contribute to quality improvement activities.

The Acute Department at Naracoorte Health Service provides a broad range of inpatient and acute care services to the local community. Staff work collaboratively across disciplines to deliver safe, high-quality healthcare, supporting patients through assessment, treatment and recovery while maintaining a strong focus on person-centred care and continuous service improvement.

Conditions of Employment

• A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
• A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A.
• SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
