About the Role

Join our acute general medical allied health team and play a valued part in helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes. Working alongside experienced Allied Health Professionals including physiotherapists, dietitians, speech pathologists and occupational therapists, you’ll support clinical care, build strong team connections, maintain service excellence and help create a positive patient experience.

• Support allied health service delivery and patient care
• Assist with treatment programs under AHP direction
• Prepare, maintain and manage clinical equipment and resources
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
• Contribute to safe, efficient and professional service operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in team meetings, projects and service improvement activities
• Build positive relationships with patients, carers and colleagues
• Help create a welcoming and supportive care environment

About You

You are a caring and reliable Allied Health Assistant who enjoys supporting patients and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team in a fast-paced acute care environment. With strong communication skills, sound judgement and a commitment to safe, high quality care, you’re ready to make a meaningful contribution every day.

• Hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
• Apply therapeutic skills to support patient care and recovery
• Prioritise tasks, manage workloads and work independently
• Communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality and build trust
• Use computer systems confidently and adapt to change
