As the Surgical & Midwifery Ward Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership, operational oversight and team coordination across the Surgical, Maternity and Renal Dialysis Units.  Working with a dynamic health service environment, you will drive quality patient outcomes, support workforce development and help foster a positive, collaborative culture across the organisation.

  • Lead and coordinate patient care delivery across multiple units
  • Provide operational oversight, staffing coordination and after-hours support
  • Drive quality improvement, risk management and service innovation
  • Mentor and support nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to workforce planning, resource management and patient flow

Essential Criteria

  • Registered or eligible nurse/Midwife with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing and/or midwifery experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in clinical settings
  • Experience supervising staff, students and developing team capability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare information systems
