About the role

The Admin Officer provides administrative and reception support, maintains accurate records and bookings, assists outpatient scheduling, and improves departmental processes. The Admin Officer will work flexibly across roles to support efficient operations and patient care under management direction.

Key duties of the role

  • Providing high-level administrative and reception support
  • Maintaining accurate clerical records and documentation
  • Supporting patient care through booking and record management
  • Assisting with outpatient clinic scheduling
  • Improving processes for efficiency and workload management

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst working with demanding and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Experience in providing a confidential secretarial and personal administrative support service to senior staff, including in the drafting and editing of general correspondence, minutes and reports.
