We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our lively and collaborative team.

This role is perfect for someone with exceptional administrative and organisational skills, along with strong attention to detail who has an interest in building experience in communications.

You will play a key role in supporting our communications activities while ensuring efficient and well-coordinated administrative operations.

About the role

  • Respond to enquiries and manage communications received by the unit
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Director, including records management
  • Coordinate meetings, including calendar management and bookings for promotional activities and tools
  • Support the implementation of communications activities aligned to team and organisational priorities
  • Prepare documents, presentations and briefing materials
  • Monitor, process and track invoices
  • Collate, produce and distribute newsletters
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of events
  • Maintain and update online platforms and digital content

About you

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Canva and basic experience in video editing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A positive and proactive approach and willingness to support the team as needed
  • An appropriate degree, such as Communications, Business Administration or related field is advantageous
