BHFLHN is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse – Community Portfolio Project to join our Community Nursing team. This part-time, ongoing role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our community.

In this rewarding role, you will deliver nursing services across various health service settings, leveraging your experience and further study to develop from a competent to a proficient practitioner. You will be accountable for maintaining high standards of practice, guiding and mentoring less experienced staff, and delegating tasks as necessary.

To succeed in this role, you must be a registered nurse or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? 

You will………. 

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing/midwifery care, including assessment, care planning, and monitoring outcomes.
  • Provide clinical leadership within a team, overseeing care delivery and supporting patient flow.
  • Coordinate and support healthcare services, contributing to problem-solving, change management, and service improvements.
  • Support education and development by mentoring students and staff and fostering a strong learning culture.
  • Contribute to research, clinical audits, and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate professional leadership by promoting consistent care, acting as a resource, and undertaking key portfolio responsibilities.
