  • Two full-time temporary positions up to 15/3/27 and 13/3/28
  • To maintain 24/7 operations, rotating shift work is required

About the Role

Be the friendly first point of contact at a busy hospital switchboard. You’ll manage calls, create clear connections and keep information flowing, ensuring every enquiry is handled with care, accuracy and professionalism.

  • Answer calls and manage switchboard enquiries
  • Direct calls and provide clear, timely information
  • Initiate paging and respond to emergency calls
  • Record and relay accurate messages
  • Welcome visitors and assist at enquiries desk
  • Build strong links with staff and stakeholders
  • Maintain privacy and follow set procedures
  • Support smooth daily admin operations

About You

You’re a calm, customer focused professional who communicates clearly and keeps things running smoothly. You handle busy environments with ease, stay organised and deliver a reliable, high quality service every time.

  • Strong customer service and clear communication skills
  • Stay calm, resolve issues and de escalate situations
  • Organise tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Use admin systems and follow set procedures
  • Work well in teams and maintain confidentiality
