WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Are you an Occupational Therapist interested in offering your services when you choose?
The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a Casual Occupational Therapist (AHP1/AHP2) to join our Casual pool to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. In this role, you will apply your clinical experience and developing generalist and/or specialist expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of the local community.
Working autonomously, you will contribute to integrated care delivery across preventative, early intervention, therapeutic and evaluative domains, while collaborating closely with health professionals and external service providers. You will also play a key role in supporting the development of the workforce through clinical supervision of junior staff, allied health assistants and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
You will……….
- Deliver high-quality, client-centred Occupational Therapy services to children (0–7 years), including those with developmental delay, autism and sensory needs, across clinic, community, group and early childhood settings, including NDIS supports.
- Manage a complex and varied caseload with increasing autonomy, applying clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to assessment, intervention, health promotion and early intervention activities.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with external partners to provide coordinated, culturally safe care, particularly for rural, Aboriginal and diverse communities.
- Contribute to clinical leadership, supervision and workforce development by supporting junior staff, allied health assistants and students, while actively engaging in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Support service quality and sustainability through effective documentation, data reporting, and participation in continuous improvement activities.
