Overview:

  • The Service Desk Trainer is responsible to the Service Desk Manager, for the coordination and delivery of the training requirements for the Digital Health SA Service Desk team.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the development and delivery of effective and knowledgeable training material for induction and refresher training, as well as additional or altered training requirements introduced through business change.
  • The incumbent will be a subject matter expert on the function and operation of the Service Desk including incident and service request management in accordance with policies, procedures and service level agreements.
  • The position will provide training of staff as directed in the correct use of all Service Desk processes, including standard desktop applications and hardware. 
  • The incumbent will be required to share experience with more junior staff and provision of performance feedback to other Team Leaders and Direct Reports.

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
