About the Role

Join as CALHN TQEH as the Nurse Consultant for Viral Hepatitis and lead expert, person-centred care for people living with hepatitis. You’ll coordinate complex care, build strong partnerships and support teams to deliver safe, consistent and informed care across settings.

Duties

  • Coordinate complex viral hepatitis care and case management
  • Deliver expert clinical care
  • Lead care plans for clients with complex needs
  • Educate and provide treatment to clients diagnosed with Hepatitis C
  • Liaise with GPs, NGOs, prison health and partner services
  • Provide outreach services
  • Drive quality care and consistent practice

About You

You’re an experienced, compassionate nurse leader with strong HIV or infectious diseases expertise, ready to guide care, support teams and improve outcomes for diverse communities.

  • Registered Nurse with NMBA and current practising certificate
  • Experience in viral hepatitis or infectious disease care
  • Lead teams, drive change and support staff growth
  • Communicate well, solve problems and manage priorities
  • Deliver inclusive care for diverse and vulnerable groups
