  • Part time role working 9 days per fortnight

About the role

Step into a hands-on, technically rewarding role where your expertise directly supports safe, reliable healthcare delivery. As a Senior Biomedical Engineering Technician, you will provide timely, high-quality support across a diverse range of biomedical equipment, ensuring devices are calibrated, maintained and performing to the highest standards. You will play a key role in planned and reactive maintenance, accurately documenting outcomes while contributing to the development and delivery of in-service inspection programs aligned with manufacturer guidance, Australian Standards and internal policies.

Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will build strong relationships with clinicians, departments, suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives and share your knowledge by guiding and developing junior team members.   • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical field
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting biomedical equipment
  • Sound knowledge of device safety, clinical use and regulations
