About the Role

Join a dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant, where you’ll deliver professional, confidential, and highly organised support across Community Nursing, Support at Home, or Allied Health programs. In this pivotal role, you’ll keep operations running smoothly by providing efficient administrative services while working closely with a supportive leadership team—making a real difference behind the scenes in vital community health services.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteria 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise across all levels and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management, able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in administrative systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong keyboard and document preparation skills.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality administrative support, including minute taking, report preparation, and maintaining office systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.

Desired Criteria 

  • Certificate or qualification in administration or business, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Previous administrative experience in a health service, supporting management and leadership teams, with proficiency in relevant software (e.g. Oracle, Basware, ProAct).
  • Understanding of public sector and SA Health systems, policies, and the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network.
