We’re seeking motivated Occupational Therapists to join our casual pool, providing vital, person-centred services across Port Pirie, Wallaroo and Clare within the Yorke & Northern Local Health Network.

You’ll work in a mix of acute, outpatient and community settings, helping clients meet their goals, stay in their homes, and live independently — all while enjoying the diverse experiences of regional healthcare.

In this casual role, you’ll enjoy variety, autonomy and the chance to be part of a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, compassion and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Occupational Therapy services across acute, outpatient & community settings
  • Conduct assessments, care planning & intervention
  • Triage referrals and manage clinical priorities
  • Support junior staff & Allied Health Assistants
  • Promote client-centred, culturally safe care

What We’re Looking For:

The successful applicant(s) must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for full membership of the South Australian Board of Occupational Therapist.  For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be filled.  For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional associations' accredited continuous professional development program.

Applicants will need to be skilled in supporting clients, carers and families across the Patient Journey, providing effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will equip the OT in interacting effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, as well as working well within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Please note: as these vacancies are multi-classed as either a AHP1 or AHP2, the classification will be determined by qualifications, knowledge and experience.
