Are you passionate about supporting high‑quality healthcare delivery behind the scenes? Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking motivated and detail‑focused Medical Records Officer to join our dynamic and growing team.

As a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia, NALHN relies on accurate, timely and secure patient information to support safe clinical decision‑making. In this essential role, you will be at the centre of that process ensuring patient records are managed with precision, confidentiality and care.

In your day‑to‑day work, you will be responsible for the accurate handling, tracking and maintenance of medical records, ensuring patient information systems are kept up‑to‑date and accessible to support clinical care. You will contribute to the efficient utilisation of hospital resources by delivering high‑quality administrative services in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining strict compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements.

By working closely with clinical and administrative teams, you will help ensure the smooth flow of information across the organisation—directly supporting patient safety, continuity of care and service excellence.

This role is rostered across a 7‑day service to support flexible, high‑quality care delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to problem‑solve effectively, manage conflict and engage confidently in challenging conversations while building productive working relationships. You will be comfortable juggling multiple, competing priorities and demonstrate resilience in a fast‑paced, complex healthcare environment.

You are highly organised, detail‑oriented and committed to maintaining accurate records and strict confidentiality at all times. Your ability to work collaboratively while remaining focused and adaptable will be key to your success in this essential role.
