About the Role

AHP-3  Join CALHN as a Senior Clinician and play a vital role responding to mental health events in the community and police custodial settings alongside SAPOL. You will conduct mental health assessments, triage care, and coordinate safe outcomes for consumers and staff, including hospital transfers, detention under the Mental Health Act (2009), or use of community and non-government resources. Reporting to the Team Manager of Western Community Mental Health (Port), you will lead, implement and evaluate quality mental health services, optimise patient outcomes, provide clinical leadership, and support less experienced staff within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

RN-3  Join SA Health as a Nurse Consultant and provide expert mental health nursing care while leading and supporting your team. You will deliver direct care, guide nurses, and coordinate projects that enhance consumer outcomes. Working within national standards, you will oversee comprehensive care, address practice gaps, and provide education, counselling, and group support. Through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and non-government organisations, you will contribute clinical expertise to improve recovery and wellbeing for consumers while fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
