About the Role

As a Radiographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic medical imaging services across a range of clinical specialties. Working with minimal professional direction, you will perform more complex general radiography procedures across various modalities, applying specialised techniques and sound clinical judgement to meet individual patient needs. From reviewing medical records and liaising with clinical teams, to assessing patient condition and modifying techniques to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes, you will ensure every examination is safe, accurate and patient-centred.

You will review and post-process images to a high standard, accurately record examination details in the EMR, and promptly communicate any urgent findings to the Radiologist or referring clinician. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will provide professional guidance to radiographers, graduates and students, contribute to research and quality assurance activities, and support business continuity as required. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise, leadership and compassionate care in a collaborative and supportive Medical Imaging environment.

About You

You hold an appropriate Degree in Medical Radiation and are registered as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia. You are licensed, or eligible to obtain a licence, to operate radiation apparatus in accordance with Section 24 of the Radiation Protection and Control Act (SA) 2021.

You are a capable and adaptable Radiographer who combines clinical expertise with initiative, professionalism and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care.

  • Demonstrated experience in complex general radiography

  • Strong clinical judgement and patient-focused assessment skills

  • Committed to radiation safety, quality improvement and compliance

  • Collaborative communicator who supports and mentors others
