Join a collaborative and high-performing Emergency Department team in Port Pirie Regional Health Service, where your expertise and leadership will make a genuine difference.  We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional emergency care and driving excellence in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Take your emergency nursing expertise to the next level in a fast-paced, dynamic team.  As a Clinical Nurse you will:

  • Deliver expert, patient-centred care in the Emergency Department.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire your nursing team.
  • Collaborate with doctors, allied health and external partners.
  • Support education, quality improvement, and research initiatives.
  • Drive positive change and maintain high standards of care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum 3 years post-registration experience, preferably in Emergency Nursing.
  • Passion for mentoring and supporting junior staff.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Port Pirie Regional Health Service

Port Pirie Regional Health Service is a 52-bed acute facility with Emergency, Peri-operative, Renal Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Birthing, Outpatient, Medical and Surgical services, alongside the co-located Hammill House aged care facility.  With over 15,000 ED presentations annually and a full onsite support team, we provide comprehensive care across the lifespan. Port Pirie ED is a Code Stroke Thrombolysis centre with 24/7 access to CT and radiology. The department is staffed and supported by medical officers and senior nurses providing comprehensive, high-level emergency care to patients.
