• Salary: AHP4 $118,887 - $129,427 p.a. (pro-rata) + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits

About the Role

As the Advanced Clinical Educator – Ultrasound, you will lead the delivery of a comprehensive ultrasound training program at your base site, while also supporting and collaborating across other SAMI locations.

Please note:

• The Advanced Clinical Educator - Country must be based at one of the SAMI country sites and may be required to travel to other country sites to support staff education and training positions. The SAMI country locations are Berri, Murray Bridge, Port Pirie and Clare.

This pivotal role requires significant professional judgement, applying up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge in a specialised and complex environment. You will play a key role in shaping education and training for the sonographer workforce, ensuring quality, consistency, and the integration of innovative technologies and processes.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across SAMI, you will oversee education and development activities that support the training of new and returning sonographers, and ongoing professional development. You will also liaise with education providers to enhance training outcomes and contribute to research and innovation within ultrasound practice.

About You

You are a highly skilled and accredited Medical Sonographer with a passion for education, innovation, and advancing ultrasound practice. With a balance of clinical expertise and leadership capability, you are committed to training the next generation of sonographers while maintaining excellence in patient care.

• Hold an ASAR-accredited postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound with broad advanced-level clinical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, including complex and specialised studies.
• Strong experience in clinical education, training, and staff development, with the ability to foster collaborative, multidisciplinary learning.
• Well-developed communication, problem-solving and leadership skills, with sound knowledge of quality improvement and safety principles.
