Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Clinical Research Coordinator - Expand Access to Rural Clinical Trials

Make a meaningful impact by strengthening rural health research capacity and enabling equitable access to clinical trials closer to home. This unique role offers the opportunity to combine clinical expertise with research coordination, ensuring patients in Regional, Rural and Remote areas can participate in high-quality clinical trials regardless of where they live.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse - Clinical Research Coordinator, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the development, coordination and implementation of clinical trials, including teletrials. You will provide operational and professional expertise to ensure research activities are delivered safely, ethically and in accordance with relevant government, institutional and trial guidelines.

You will coordinate participant consent and assessments in line with study protocols, oversee the sourcing and management of clinical research data, and ensure documentation meets audit and regulatory standards. The role also involves supporting ethics and governance submissions, preparing for external audits, maintaining strict confidentiality of research information, and contributing to scholarly and collaborative research activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience.
  • Proven experience in working with computerised information systems, preferably within a clinical or medical environment.
  • Demonstrated competence in undertaking ECG, vitals, venepuncture, cannulation, IV and Sub-cutaneous drug administration.
