Overview

Work in a pivotal role in a respected Emergency Department at Mount Gambier Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and clinical leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care to Emergency Department patients and inpatients requiring urgent review.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and supervision to trainee medical officers and junior staff.
  • Lead quality improvement, teaching, audit, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to optimise care, safety, and clinical systems.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Do you have appropriate specialist qualifications (FACEM) and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as Medical Practitioner
  • Do you have extensive experience in emergency medicine, with advanced skills in resuscitation, airway management, circulatory support, and retrieval of critically ill patients, particularly in a rural setting?
  • Are you committed to clinical leadership, mentoring, and supporting multidisciplinary teams?
